So this past weekend was TCAF and I had a blast. I wasn’t exhibiting, I was just creeping on other artists and checking out some panels. It was a great time and if you ever get a chance to go you should, it’s free!

An update on our new little froggies, They’ve got new names now. We’ve decided to name them Darmok and Jalad. They’re super cute and once we get them into a new tank we’ll get some cute pics of them.

Two Years Old

Today marks two years of I am ARG! Two years ago I posted the first ARG comic to facebook and it’s been a crazy ride. This past year has been crazy. I put out a book, I’ve done three cons, made lots of great comic friends and made some of best comics.

I want to thank every single one of you guys and gals for making this whole thing possible. Without your continued support this comic wouldn’t be what it is today! I’ve met so many of you at conventions and you’ve made this whole comic thing amazing. So again, thank you for all your support.

Year three is already shaping out to be crazy year, I’ve got lots planned for the coming year. More convention appearances, an upcoming anthology story, an artbook, another ARG book, a site redesign, more merchandise and of course lot’s of dick jokes.

Here’s to another year of ARG!

In DnD this weekend, I had my group of adventurers, “The Health and Safety Department”, encounter a cave filled with particular cats. Much lulz were had.

The Heat of Battle

You’d think with all the times she’s throwing crap at Booker that she had to have mistimed her throw a couple of times. If you haven’t played Bioshock Infinite yet I highly reccomend it. APRIL FOOLS! You may have noticed some craziness about the site and on the facebook page and my Twitter account. Basically I faked an Alternate Reality game and Gibberished up the site. It was good fun and some of you even fell for it.

Nerf

At my work it’s not uncommon for a nerf gun war to break out suddenly. Some of us have gotten into the habit of bouncing darts of walls, ceiling and other objects. Sometimes they land in things like coffee or lunches or the toilet while some one is taking a pee. Nerf is a Dangerous game.

So on the weekend you may have noticed the site was down and out for a couple of hours. Well obviously it’s back. The issue has bee resolved and it was NOT A HACK. Just a timed switch was flicked off. we flicked it back on and put a sign over it.

Technique

Poutine

While in Seattle it came to my attention that a lot of you do not know of the joy that is poutine. The standard is gravy, cheese curds and fries, but lately the poutinering has opened itself to all sorts of new combinations. Basically if it’s edible it can go on a bed of french fries.

I’ve been putting off doing a big write up of Emerald City Comic Con and that’s only because I’ve been trying to find the right words to describe it. It was sort of a mixed bag. The people I met were absolutely amazing. Meeting Kris Straub was one of many highlights of the trip. Some solid new friendships have developed from this trip and current friendships only got stronger. It was by far an excellent convention people wise. My only complaint is that they had our group of webcomics away from all the other webcomics. Some people didn’t even know there was a whole other section of comic goodness. So it brought sales down friday and saturday. Sunday picked up and I’m happy to say that 75% of my book sales were to people that never even read the comic, had picked up a flyer from me the day before and then decided to buy a book. ProTip: Flyers with 6 of your broadest and best comics on it kill at conventions.
