I have an excellent memory. As long as it applies to only euphemisms.
So throughout the short time I’ve been making this comic, I’ve been consistently getting questions about how I do certain things and how do I do them so fast. So I made you guys a tutorial about how I draw the comic. I hope you guys get something cool out of it.
The next tutorial will be about how I write the comic.
it’s not adirty mind, it’s just a very sexy imagination
I have a friend who claims she has a sexy imagination. Next time, I might ask if she’s sure she doesn’t have a pornographic memory and see what she says.
“No female moles” perhaps?
My friends always say “no me mosleste” to me and I thought it meant “don’t molest me” for the longest time XD
This joke was done by the comic “Rob and Elliot”. at least the pornographic memory part
my brother’s used that phrase since around ’94. we’ll probably both laugh at this
Funny enough, I am Spanish and this is the first strip I don’t really get :/
The “pornographic memory” part, I do get it, though 🙂
+1
somebody explain it D:
I freakin love lins expression in the second panel, mostly because it shows all of her freckles, also, arg,u live in canada,so doesn’t that mean that u can speak, or at least understand french, which is similar to spanish?
Ha! He has a french name, but I’m the one who did french immersion and is somewaht bilingual.
My mind isn’t dirty, it’s just slightly soiled!
The word “molest” is actually derived from the Latin “molesto” meaning “annoy”, “disturb”, or “worry”. (No, really!)
I’m not sure how it went from “annoy” to “grab sexually”, but it went there all right.
I’m reminded of a Spanish teacher I had, who told of a summer exchange program he had. He wasn’t so hot at Spanish at the time, and went around saying “Yo soy embarasado…” to say he was embarrassed. Which of course got many chuckles… because that means “I’m pregnant” not “I’m embarassed.”
And if you think about it, you can kinda hear “to bear (something)” in the word embarassed, so I imagine the root is actually related to pregnancy, which seems to have an element of shame to it in some cultures.
Oh, and the person who said that the donation would be “20 besos” instead of “20 pesos”
jajajajaja xD
Sometimes, when a Mexican student tries to say “I wanna go to the beach” he says “I wanna go to the bitch”.. (i still do that…. sometimes)
When my friend’s mother tried to practice english, she asked for a “Restaurant in shorts” to a cab driver, she wanted to ask for a “Restaurant close to her”…
“En corto”(in mexican spanish) = “Cerca de”(in true spanish) = “Close to” (in english)
Sorry guys, I have studied, but my english isn’t good yet, so…
Can somebody explain me that?
Why “No moleste” remember him something sexual?
Saludos desde México. 🙂
Really, there are plenty of doors that could use that sign.
No aprendres español en Canada? Por que? Español y francãis son dos Latin.
Ah, I’m just teasin ya dude. But do give Spanish a try, it’s a lot more interesting than English. That and seething tells me that Canada is not a very multi-lingual country ( except for French, but when you speak Spanish then you hate French)
Pornographic memory eh?
…
“I’m afraid i can’t let you do that Arg”
*shudders*
