I’m often worried if my eventual children will have anything in common with me other than my maturity.
Check your maturity at the door and join the ARG Facebook page for all the latest up to date info and news. There’s some BIG STUFF coming soon. BIG STUFF!
don´t have cable, just the coolest tv cartoons and series in bluray during the first ten years. and teach them to read with comics and with harry potter books. and don´t forget the video games like warcraft and then are 11 let them watch, read an play whatever they want
Amen to that. Or even worse…RELIGIOUS! Oh wait…I take back that Amen.
They’re coming to get you now!
Just noticed… you have elf’s ears.
naw, they just be big and long.
Athletes … the horror …
¿Like an air hockey international athlete?
or a pong champ.
What she doesn’t say is they’re actually GIANT NERDS.
The TARDIS and the Doctor are actual size, they caught the used-book-store-owner to play the Doctor. He gets two weekends a month to see his family.
I don’t know where they got a Billie Piper look-alike though.
There are lots of places, you could just replace her with a rock in most of her scenes and you probably couldn’t tell the difference. The acting’s about the same. BA-DUM-PSSSHHH!
Arg, PLEASE MAKE THIS CANON!
WHAT? FIRE THEM FROM A CANNON? OKAY!
A generation ago, this was something many would be proud of. It shows how nerd culture is becoming more accepted in society when becoming an athlete is something certain people would be disappointed about.
Yes, that was indeed the theme of this comic. Well done, you’ve gained a skill point in critical thinking skills. Use it wisely, this kind of thing doesn’t just happen randomly, you’ve got a wonderful career in politics waiting for you.
woah, hey now… Let’s all be nice here.
A friend of mine is a long-haired metalhead/medieval re-enactor. His teenage son “rebelled” by joining the military.
GASP! Such heroism!
wow, such heroism, much rebellion
All you have to do is make sure kid/s always know the absolute truth: Athletes are no fun at all, nerds rule!!!
we’ll take over the world! if we weren’t so out of shape…
You don’t have to be in shape to pilot a Drone and the regular air-force hates having their meatsacks shown up by nerds.
well there are worse things then athletes.
What if they tell horrible jokes no one laughs at or worse thing is they turn out liking Nickleback.
So how is your wife taking the announcement of Diablo 3 expansion and did you ever do the secret level?
We never actually got to the unicorn level… I think we were both dissapointed with the game.
Most everybody is disappointed with the game – their updates for the new year are not helping. As for the unicorn level … meh ….. much carnage …. much effort … little gain ….. got old very fast. I played one shot flash games that had more to them.
I was an athlete and a huge nerd. Grade school through College I jumped between baseball, track and field, golf, bowling and pickup basketball. I was and still am a huge nerd who built computers, played MMORPGs, and was never too far away from his game-pro, electronics gaming monthly magazines.
I’m proof you can totally be on both sides of the spectrum without being a total douche to the the other side.
It’s true some of my biggest nerd friends take part in that sport thing…
Oh yeah, I played all the team sports as a kid, and even enjoyed one or two. Athletes don’t scare me, just the ARG. Haha.
The most scary thing one’s child may ever grow up to be is an athlete with a psychological degree. Not only they are super boring, they also think that their mastery of Freudian psychologies gives them the knowledge of people around them. And it does quite the opposite, sadly
Sounds like theme for next japan horror movie.
I am a geek who never so much as played on a Little League team. I’m signing my 6-year-old up for softball this weekend, and it freaks me out. She inherited my parents’ athletic ability and interest. Still, I’ll go to her games, like my parents came to my musical performances and, uh, Star Trek parties.
i wouldn’t say don’t be an athlete, just don’t be a bully meathead.
such stereotyping arg. not all atheletes are mean.
nice! a little 10(eleven) doctor and rose tyler. awesome!
late-night admission: when i was in school for 3d game character art, my worst fear was working for EA on a football video game o_O
But athletes make a shit ton of money, ARG…
If they turn out to be masseuses then good luck.
