I often wonder what my funeral would be like. Probably really dark as I’ll be dead.
I was toying with the idea of keeping Lynn out of the comic for the next 7 weeks while she’s away. But I chose not to, based on the following criteria.
- LOL, continuity.
- She’s the best character in the comic
- another thing
- I miss her.
Check out the ARG Facebook Page (provided facebook didn’t crap out again) and follow me on twitter @IamARG and talk to me. I’m getting lonely.
All good reasons for keeping Lynn in the comic, and number 3 is just a great reason for anything!!!
The only thing that should be light at a funeral is the beer!
At my dad’s funeral I bawled my eyes out by his burial site then went and gave a eulogy which is still the funniest thing I’ve ever written/performed. Afterwards people told me that of everyone who spoke I was the one who best captured my dad’s spirit.
So jokes at a funeral don’t have to be bad.
You can keep with the “Lynn is not real” thing
LOL, continuity
I agree with this criteria.
In the comic, ARG secretly built a robot Lynn to use just for situations like these.
There you go, explained away. DEEPEST LORE.
Aww, she just left, the bed still smells like her. You will be all right Andrew…but really, she is pretty awesome.
i think funeral should be done to describe ur life achievments….so for yours i would get mini printouts of your comic here and hand them to guests and have a good laugh over your unique self 🙂
Keep it light you say? How about a weightless coffin?
Going through your midlife crisis, ARG? Between this and your last comic, it seems that you are thinking a lot about your own mortality.
OK seriously what’s up with #3
She ain’t there ARG…she ain’t in the comic. ‘Nuff said.
All life begins with Nu and ends with Nu…
This is the truth! This is my belief!
…At least for now.
I still count Graham Chapman’s eulogy as probably the greatest of all time. John Cleese had people laughing through their tears and if anybody hasn’t seen it, go check it out on Youtube.
Why not just rename the comic to “This is Lynn!” or something, considering she is (as you say) the best character in the comic.
And yes: LOL, continuity.
All life begins with Nu and ends with Nu.
