Reminds me, I recall at least 3 episodes of Star Trek where they discovered a method of “turning back the clock” but we never hear about it again. Surely SOMEONE would make use of transporter technology to become a child again – especially since they KEPT their adult memories. WAY less troublesome than the medicine that one Admiral took. Or they could just emigrate / vacation on Baku! (This is not to mention the ability to change one’s gender in a relatively frivolous way – DS9 episode Quark became female for a simple scam and then switched back. I figured, based on the other aspects of Trek society, that it’s so common among the ‘normals’ that no one even mentions it anymore.)
The interesting thing is that sooner or later, age would STILL catch up with us in one way or another.
That sort of thing always bugged me about Star Trek (especially Voyager). They’d invent amazing technology, try it once and have relatively minor and reversible side effects, then never mention it ever again.
Hey, we invented a way to instantly travel anywhere in the universe! Oh, wait… it is a non-lethal, and completely reversible side-effect. Lets never attempt to use or improve on the design.
this paticular comic just raised your standards Arg!
Immortality shall be sweet. Thank you for revealing this secret.
Woohoo! I’m must be immortal!
I’M IN THE MOOD FOR FOOD!
those damn doctors had us fooled all along!
also, is there a reason for the scarves’ coloring? or am i just on that harbaugh high?
Lynn is in Ravenclaw, and ARG is in Hufflepuff
If we can make ourselves you, why can’t we downgrade ourselves to going from old to young? Technology will hopefully find its way.
