At my current job (call center), they only have the people with the most sales on the phon. That means I currently go there, clock in, and then get paid to do mostly nothing for eight hours.
I’m not entirely sure what this means. Did Capitalism fall while I wasn’t looking?
At least he has a positive attitude. Also it’s funny how many businesses are expecting you to work overtime with little to no (What’s that thing called again? Yarg, I hate it when my brain decides to delete a word in a sentence that I have written out in my mind and want to bring to the metaphorical paper, darned may be those head gaps!) Compensation (There we go, now was that so hard, brain?) at least here in Switzerland.
Ayup. That was basically my first half-week at my latest job. Ironically, half the stuff my new supervisor was busy with was stuff that he wanted me to take over, but couldn’t have me do so because I hadn’t been trained, because he didn’t have time to train me.
Same with my first job except mu superior told me “have nothing for you to do now, come back in two months”. Now if there’s nothing for me to do he tells me to study new technologies that are likely to be used in upcoming projects.

Did they hide the toilet seat?
5 cups. Was it at least good coffee?
My sister started a new job and it was pretty much like this. They didn’t give her a computer until about 5 minutes before lunch.
Totally off topic, but when are going to see another episode of the classic anime series “Robot no Student Card”?
Hopefully they’re a little more conscientious when payday comes around….

Perfect job, Arg!
