You’re lucky that they didn’t just straight up draw, quarter, and lynch you right in front of the Nintendo company.
You got that out of order. Not much point in hanging a man who already lost his neck. I am guilty of the misdamenore of thinking it slightly inferior to Majorus Mask; the correct answer usually is that they are equal.

OoT is good but not nearly as good as people claim

honestly at first i too was on the “OH YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR DICK CUT OFF AND NEVER BE ALLOWED TO MAKE ANOTHER DICK JOKE AGAIN FOR THIS CRIME!!!!” but then i stopped and thought (which some of your comics make me do every now and then.) and your right while the game gave a whole new view it took away alot of what made the game amazing but its still a good game in its own right. but aside from that i hope your cell mate doesnt go in to dry.

It was made by a guy who couldn’t beat, and thus hated, the original, and wanted to make a game named “Zelda” for everyone else.
I despise it for it’s origin… mechanically, it’s a masterpiece, granted, but it spits in the face of a lot of what makes LoZ good in the first place.
And LoZ2 is a better metroidvania than the original metroid, from where I stand.
So… yeah, fully agree, ARG. You’re sort of a new hero for me~

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say part of the belief the OoT is “best Zelda EVAR!” has to do with it being the first Zelda on N64, and the first Zelda to use all those polygons (just like Final Fantasy 7 being “the best” for similar reasons)
Now, I’m not saying OoT or FFVII aren’t good, just that I see where a lot of the nostalgic hype comes from. Plus we all know Chrono Trigger is the best. Period.
I personally think the entire Legend of Zelda series is overrated. I’ll be right back someone is knocking on my door….

I haven’t played a Legend of Zelda since the Super Nintendo, and I couldn’t care less about the entire franchise. I’m with you, man. Big N’s had it.
It’s definitely overrated, in the sense that a lot of people call it the greatest game of all time. Still a fantastic game, though.
I still say Majora’s Mask is one of the best games of all time, no regrets.
Well, Ocarina IS pretty overrated. Now if he’d said that about Majora’s Mask, THAT would be a jailable offense
Finally, we found another one! I hate every Zelda past A Link to the Past.
