heh, yeah I’ll admit I was a bit scared at that moment. but action had to take place. this house centipede was about 2 inches without legs factored in.
Eh. I grew up in a house full of millipedes. Wolf spiders crawl across my hands, desk, face, and floors. Ladybugs litter the floor in the fall, and you can’t take two steps without stepping on one. Houseflies are my friends, except when they plaster themselves to my food.
Not the word I had planned, but if you fear chitinous invertebrates, then I guess all that would be intimidating. Sounds cool to me, though the spiders’d take some getting used to – I’m accustomed to killing any spider bigger than a daddy longlegs if it’s in the house, on account of bites being annoying. Also because they’re tasty…
I am oh so late to this party, but I hate the creepy crawlies which are centipedes. I also hate that the cats ignore them and allow the to crawl unchecked up my legs… their butes hurt quite a lot, and I annihilate them when seen. I may be villainous to the centipede lovers out there, but they made that game with the trak ball oh so long ago for a reason.
Also, I am just finding this comic and starting through the backlog now.
The last time I saw a house centipede (the bitch was an inch long at least) I was drunk and I began to hyperventilate.
What I mean to say, is that this comic has special significance to me.

awwwwww, Did you really have to kill it that was just mean
No. Mean would be torturing it to death.
You are the hero!!!! You go boy!
Can you come over? we have an infestation of those little buggers
I get what youre saying, but they eat spiders and other pests that im sure youre more afraid of.
Aww, what did that centipede ever do to you?
I hate those things. I’m surprised it didn’t scurry off in two directions when you bifurcated it.
Damn. I love centipedes, and most of other bug-like creatures. You, sir, are a villain.

Point is, it was just *one* goddamn centipede.
You sound terrifying.

Hero alright. Warrior of the spoon
Did you know that house centipedes hunt cockroaches? I would leave them alone if I were you…
Leave ’em alone? Heck, if you’re right then I’m going out and adopt some!
house centipedes are awesome (when they’re not visible) as they eat all the other stuff, like roaches and spiders and bed bugs and pill bugs and…..
A house spoon? Meh, usually I whip of my sunglasses and use my laser eyes to cut the centipede up 6 times from Sunday, but I guess a spoon works too.
Took a step back*
